What a Day!

From this morning, finally posting at a WiFi location:

We've had major live streaming issues all morning throughout the mountains in Colorado, but now that we're on some flatter ground for a while, hopefully the feed will keep up with our riders for at least a little while. But until it gets back up and running for longer than 2 minutes at a time, here's a recap of this morning's events.

The day started off gorgeous, with a perfect sunrise, low-lying fog, and... 40 degree temperatures. (Hey, you can't win em all, right?) Jurassic Park and John Williams provided the perfect soundtrack for this literally break of dawn ride by Greg and Ralph.

We spent the rest of the morning in forests like the one above, winding in and out of tree-lined, mountain roads with Ken and Jeremy, and experiencing very sporadic satellite coverage, (as is to be sometimes expected when you are in a bowl-full of vegetation.)

Of course, when we finally did get the feed back up for a bit, a bug decided that its last request would be death by wide angle lens at 40mph. RIP little buggy.

We're headed off to break now, but the Veronica's will be back in 15 hours. Until then, enjoy the stylings of Hans and Spence. :)

Over and Out!

P.S. I'm going to try and post a few videos from earlier now that we're at the hotel for the "night." Fingers crossed, we'll get you guys some footage, even if it isn't live for now, and will be trouble shooting what's going on at the crack of dawn. Thanks for your patience and continued support!
